No one has come on here and admitted to DOING a RXX hull. We talked about it, and everyone thought it might be a great idea, but like most projects that's about all we've heard. I really wish someone would give it a shot.

thought about that when my rxx was toast... would be interesting to see... hulls shorter, and lighter!

Didn't you just get that thing "new" from the dealer?

I thought the RXX hull was too thin, flexed, delaminated, etc? Didn't they have some issues due to trying to make it too light? The weight and torque of a SC 4-tec might not be a good combination with a thin hull ... plus, shorter and smaller is NOT always better when it comes to top speed (and surviving it) ... the shorter the hull, the more it will want to swap ends at high speed. I would be concerned putting 250+hp in any hull that is much shorter than a GPR ... another consideration is that the shorter the hull the quicker they will tend to porpose too (remember the Merc 2.5 in the Polaris Pro hull?) ... Just my .02 but IMO there are much better choices for a conversion hull than a RXX hull.

Yeah, I've come to the same conclusion. Too many delaminating issues, they even swapped hulls under warranty on earlier models, crap quality hull. I guess there just isn't anything close to the gpr's equal. The SeaDoo RX was mentioned, but the gpr is surely faster. I saw a place that makes a carbon fiber Kawasaki stx15f hull. GPR it is, but one project at a time, just planning for the future ;-)

Anyone got a CF GPR Hull ;-)
