Impeller ??

I`m in the process of swapping out my impeller on my F12-X and was wondering what bushing was everybody using, the original rubber one or the Alum one that comes with the Solas. I know awhile back there was a great debate on this on the PW (cough-cough)C2day site awhile back on the pros n cons of the 2...So gang any update or imput before i slap it back together. Thanks Mike

For years I've used both. The rubber one will stay on the aluminum one won't, and wears out quick.

I've tried a lot of ways to make it stay on but it seems to want to loosen up after awhile.

If you don't want to fiddle with the cone every 10 hrs, I'd just stick to the stock rubber one.

Be sure and remember to transfer the rubber plug from inside your old impeller to the new one.

i use a little silicone to glue in the stock one... before then it would ride up the shaft. Agree with nitro the billet is no good.

I don't use any, like the Yamaha guys:-$
