Anyone Feel Like a ride Southeast of Houston...anyone close lets meet up and go for a Sunday ride...8-)8-)8-)

Did you get a chance to get on the San Jac anywhere (N or S of the lake) ? Im curious if the river is trashed with debris from Ike.

We spent a good bit of time riding on it last summer-- its 10 min away from the house.

Went out to Loves Marina and the Good Times Marina (I think those are the names) to scope out the river yesterday. Looked good from the bank, but I didnt put in.

If this decent weather holds out I may swing by Love's tomorrow, and ride out to the bay (3/21/09)

I'll let you guys know on status of post-ike mess

I may drop in at Egret or Walter Hall today or this weekend. I need to get in the water for some testing and to de-stress from work

Hmm....we may have to swing out there. I've been itchin' to get out in the water also! Won't be able to go Saturday (Rodeo!) But we may be able to go Sunday. I've never ridden around the Clear Creek area either...

We are going to be at Egret on Sunday to ride (me, Icedog, Fullbooger)

Probably get there about 11:00

Hey--

We won't be able to make it out this Sunday-- still a little work to do on da Doos before we get them in the water.

Drop us a note-- we may be able to catch up with folks for lunch or somthing.

I'm really curious about how the river is-- if its trashed out or not-- Someone post to the thread if you get out there.

Well, I'm not sure if fate will cooperate..

My XLT engine refused to start..

Gonna change plugs and clean out cylnders(mabye flooded it, not sure)

Made a nice little trip this past Sunday from Banana Bend to the Battleship. Weather was nice, water was chilly, and the beer was even chillier!

How was the river and the part of the "bay" ? Any trash to dodge ?

We get out on the river a good bit during the summer-- Kids go to Bananna Bend with the stuff, we launch at Riverside, run up and meet them. Its 10 min from the house.

We havent had a chance to get by Riverside to see if the docks are still there. We try to avoid that section of I-10 construction as much as possible now !
