I work for RTA here in Dayton. All of our busses have cummings in them. We used to have some w/ detroits in them. But now the only manufacturer that wants to step up to the new emission regulations for a transit bus is Cummings. And yes over the winter im upgrading to a Riva ECU, ported head, RR retainers and spring seats and a few other goodies. Should be real fast!!

You ever consider an ECU?
All of ours are Cummings. I havent had it apart but I know the wheel is 143mm and the blades are taller.
I noticed in you profile that you worked with diesels. Cat by chance?
Anyway, but chance did you do a side by side comparison between the 2rude and the 3rude? Check out the difference in front housing and wheel. Is the 3rude still 140mm, just will taller blades and a spacer? Did the front housing have a different contour?
