Do you mean that cutting the valve gide like this caused this problem or do you mean...

i'm putting new valves in my 2006 rxp and when we took the intake valves out we noticed that the intake valve seats were burnt. does anybody know what can cause this.

i took the sponsons off, made a template and drilled new holes. there are more threads about it do a search and you will find it.

yes i have a 2006 rxp and lowered them 23mm for racing. 18-20mm is advised for rec riding. james bushell used the lowered oem sponsons on his race boat a few years ago.

lower the stock ones 20-23 mm and you have the best sponsons for a rxp-x.

must the 4 tec exhaust be at a certain temperature to deliver the max performance or can you ceep it cool as possible to keep the temps in the engine bay
as low as possible.
