So I've gotten rid of all my 2 smokes and have been thoroughly enjoying my 4 strokes.
Im wanting to add to what I have.
An older Kawi 250-it's been extremely reliable but everybody hates the nose...

Got it off. Didn't realize you Doo boys require a much larger pry bar than the Polaris. :)

I've removed the intake grate and six bolts securing the ride plate.
I've removed the plastic fittings and o-rings from the interior side of the hull.

I have a wedge at the stearn end of the ride...

Just curious as to how the water line(S) get disconnected and how the ride plate comes down. It starts moving freely at the stearn end but as you progress to the bow end it just stops coming down....

I grabbed the Riva intake but the R&D BOV kit. Everything should be here in short order.

The Tial seems more robust, that's the way I'll go.
On the intake, I'm just going to see what my suppliers have and who charges the least.

I can get the Riva for 50 bucks less, just wanted to see if the R&D was worth the extra bucks...

I could give a crap about top speed when it comes at the cost of handling or a better feel in ugly water.
5 hours with a stock plate, 2 hours with a VX, 30 minutes with the R&D. I too am leaving...

This is looking simple enough.
Looks like I chose the right platform.
I like any mods I don't need to run race gas or even supreme anymore.
