Put the MSX 140 back in the water on Friday,seems to be running great put 6 hrs on it this weekend.

I rebuilt the motor complete,sent the crank out all new bearings and two rods,3 new pistons,one...

Just changing the t stat on my ski and i noticed a white plastic block about 1/2 long with 4 holes in it.looking at the parts manual i don't see this white block.It sits below the spring and pop off...

Seems like the damage is done,piston, cylinder and crank. Have any parts in the GTA area ,i'm in Ottawa .

I removed the motor and tore it down already,the centre oil line melted when it overheated...

Well ,i overheated the MSX this weekend ,the previous owner installed a new piston and cylinder late last fall.When he put it back together i guess he pinched the 3/4 " hose running to the cooling...

Purchased a MSX 140 last fall,ran it today and it quit within 5 minutes.Towed backed into to shore i noticed it overheated,the 3/4 " hose was pinched off under the exhaust manifold ,i could not blow...

Can you please explain is the regulator inside the tank?

Thanks,we bought a used 750 SLT this summer and it worked very well.Probably sell the SLT if this MSX 140 turns out to be a good one.

New to forum,just picked up a silver/blue 2003 MSX 140 with 137 hours on it,overall condition seems very nice.A new piston was installed on the front cylinder,compression test seems good 150,150,145...
