Thanks again Woody. The SUV straps were too long, and I tried some GPR straps, and they were too short. This will make the tank install nice...

Backing plates attached to the stringers, with epoxy, and rivets. Expanding foam in place, and drying. Don't want to fiberglass over that stuff while still expanding.

Those were on sale for $40 shipped from SBT on a half-price sale. They are pretty slippery. Not sure I'll keep them. They do seem durable.

He's still running strong. 95mph plus, at 5000ft PLUS altitudes. Can't wait to see it at this years ride.

I have a converted MSX tank, and straps, but the S-hook may still work. Will call the junk yard and see if they have any of the right kind first.

We couldn't find them earlier. Zak (his son) found them and they arrived at my house last fri.
