Yes. US Coast Guard approved fuel line and/or OEM fuel line is better (and more expensive) but a lot of people use automotive style fuel hose. Just make sure it doesn't kink when you route it around.

Nothing goes in that open hole tab that's broken so you're ok. the hole next to it is important. it should have threads in it where the motor mount belly pan bolts to it.
