you seem to be comparing the gears on the idler gear that run the oil pump
it's the smaller gear that turns the clutch

Also the initial setup is done by plugging in a trigger module that gives a 60 kph signal
Then you wind a screw on an adjustable pot till the skis speedo reads 60 kph
