RUN THE STOCK INTAKE GRATE PERIOD.........................................
iT WILL PITCH YOU OFF AND LAUGH AT YOU.
The stock intake grate is mounted on an angle.The bars themselves act like planing surfaces and will cause the boat to lift more and more as the boat goes faster. This is great untill the point where it lifts the back so high that its not in the water anymore. Most of the time it will J HOOK do a 180 PITCH YOUR A$$ OFF PERIOD.

I HAVE NEVER RUN THE STOCK INTAKE GRATE SINCE THE YEAR 2000 UNDER ANT CIRCUMSTANCES. THE FIRST THING TO CHANGE IS THIS PART PERIOD.

IF YOU RUN THE STOCK GRATE MAKE YOUR FAMILY HAPPY AND GET A BIG LIFE INSURANCE POLICY CAUSE YOUR DONE

It will throw you off when your least expecting it. I know of people that was pitched off even on a stock ski ! I would never run the stock grate. Is 1mph worth possible death or injury. Don't say no one told you.

i know guys, i was just seeing who cared about me. thanks for the concern. i wont do it. now i wonder about running with no grate at all

Mine pitched me on the 2nd outing I ever got to ride it. The ski pitched me and took a herd turn. almost hit another ski... needless to say that was replaced by the next weekend.

I think it is a bad idea to Run any thing
OTHER THAN THE R AND D 1200 800 INTAKE GRATE
