    Adjustable "STEPPED" Sponsons...

Thanks to Chuck for letting me test fit a pair last weekend, I was able to take measurements and build a fully adjustable pair of STEPPED sponsons...

Using the same rake as the OEM unit in its stepped configuration, I built a backing plate to reflect that setting...then added my normal adjustments...

The pics are of my first set, and I need to have them test fitted before I can comfortably sign off on them as usable...BUT...I think they turned out pretty good.

What you are looking at is the backing plate being solidly mounted to the hull, like a normal aftermarket sponson. The bottom of the backing plate tapers to .75" of an inch from front to back, same as an OEM in stepped setup....BUT you now have the blade with the adjustability to dial in the grip you need to turn, while still retaining the LIFT of a stepped unit...

...AND, they are IJSBA legal in their specs...

    What ya think?

Dunno, I tried to get in contact with him this week, but he's down south for training...YET he ain't got a motor in his hull, LOL

I know they fit, because they are a modified version of the set I fitted last weekend, which fit perfectly...

I need to test these before I start making more of them...

    Anyone game?

Are you able to be on the water NOW, or are your riding areas still frozen?
