2008 RXT-X with only 5 hours, 3rd outing, flooded hull, bilge pump saved ski, lots of stress cracks in tunnel, ski at dealer, already advised BRP-SeaDoo will NOT warrant any gel coat cracks! Glad its under a f..cking waranty and a worthless extended $900 warranty! What caused my ski to flood and poor water out of the pump tunnel and why do i have stress cracks? THis is utter BS and we should start a class action lawsuit!! Incident happened on APril 24th - still waiting on dealerr and SeaDoo! I am beyound pissed off!!!!
JT 2010 RXT-X 260: 70 GPS limit @ 8000 (71.8 w/overshoot*). Catch can, strainer-shutoff, bilge pump, 4" Kana intake-filter, ride plate holes filled, Solas repitched by SpeedFreeks to 12.5/21 + setback mod, 31 hours.
Visible hairline cracking in pump tunnel on my 08 RXT-X
I'm at 55 hours, the cracks have been noticeable since 25 hours. The cracks do not appear to have become worse since first noticed. I have changed my riding style from flat out thru all conditions with some big wake jumping to just cruising with some small wake jumping. Kinda sucks having to hold back. My insurance policy covers sinking due to hull damage, so I'll be covered if and when my hull fails and sinks my ski.
Jerry, I know you have not chimed in on these pump tunnel cracks and failures, but is there anyone you know at BRP that would get this up the food chain to see if they are going to do anything about it?
Or atleast advise on a way these need to be fixed?
This is becoming an epidemic.

Got em. Port upper side of tunnel. Have had em for awhile. Put a couple layers of fiber glass & resin on the inside for reinforement when I had the motor out. We'll see.
