Ski not fast as it used to be?

    Hey everyone!
First time on the lake with a ski since last year and we winterized it and everything. We put it in the water and the acceleration felt like it was back and forth, back and forth! i figured it still had some gunk it. After a full gas tank it was running perfectly but the mph only said 55 mph at full throttle but felt like it was going fast. I was at 6500 RPMs so i do not know what speed that is but i didn't know if it was the ski messed up or i need to change something like spark plugs or oil? thanks!

It might be minor ... my friend Dan was tearing around one day, running 76 - 77 mph on his stage two at 8100 rpms. Then suddenly he was at 6500 ... thought he lost his SC or worse. Did a little looking and the hose from SC to IC had blown loose. So check the simple stuff first ... take a very close look at all your SC to IC to TB hoses and clamps, make sure the hoses are on good and clamps are very tight.

I fouled my plugs and could only hit 5-6500 rpms WOT. I put new plugs in and hit 8120 right after. Is your ski an RXP or an XP looking at your avatar?

Take the seats off. Disconect the air inlet hose that goes to your supercharger. With motor off...insert finger and attempt to turn the blades. If successful...your sc is gone. If you can only move the blades a coupla mm....check your spark plugs.

In this pic...my air intake is different than yours...it ends at the same place though.

This is the air inlet of your sc....these are the blades you will try to turn.

Pray they move just a bit.
