Was just thinking and reading on Amsoil's website. They are pushing there marine oil on us but it does not state that it is Jaso MA certified like the motorcycle oil's are?

Marine engines typically don't need that rating, and getting the rating cost a lot of money. I think it still would perform in that category, but I like to see proof.
Besides that, I read their sheet showing the ma, ma1, and ma2 comparisons where it shows three different performance levels, and that is just not accurate. old ma rating has been divided into ma1, and ma2. with ma2 having the higher friction properties. Some oils that had an old ma rating could have actually performed in the ma2 level.

Here is the TSB report regarding AMSOIL Synthetic Marine 10w-40 oil JASO MA2 and the SEA-DOO washers and the SEA-DOO oils. It shows how the AMSOIL performs to the factory SEA-DOO Oil.

Can anyone chip in as to wether I should be using a 10W-40 synthetic JASO MA2 certified oil where I am.
I'm in Phuket, Thailand so the average temperature here is pretty hot all year round at 32 degrees celsius or more. Should I still be using 10W-40 or another viscosity rating since I'm in a much warmer temperature than you guys are in North America. Thanks.

Does AMSOIL make the same claims for the newer supercharged engines? The bulletin you posted clearly states it is intended for the ceramic washers on the 04-07s, but what about a 2010? I'm looking for a new oil alternative that will work in my ski, but I have the new washers, not ceramic...
