LB2Cat - Finnish the K38 Shawn Alladio Way

So her steering column completely snaps off at the turn coming toward the finish line - she's tossed very hard, when a normal person would be done for the day waiting for a DNF tow in. Nope Hell Woman gets back on her ski uses her body weight to steer and somehow working the throttle and crosses the finish line. Does she take the tow? Of course not ...then lays down on the back of the ski steering by the nozzle with one hand while working the throttle on the bars laying toward the foot well over a mile back to dock My God this is why she is a Hall of Fame racer

Some pics and the video of the ride back to dock

That is just crazy. Sometimes the stuff she writes is a bit lofty for me but I think this explains that too. THE WOMAN IS NUTS! CRAY-ZAY! KOO-KOO!
(I love the "Hell Woman" handle there Pirate!)
All I can say is wow. That is outasite!
    Way to go Shawn!

One week out and the bruising is settling really good! Thank Goodness for my Mustang Survival Force 6 Lifejacket. All PWC riders should be wearing 100 MPH impact rated lifejackets. Ask me how I know.
Pic taken Sunday (the 20th) . I'm very happy with the race and want to thank Pirate for all he did at this race, you are a good person Pirate, we appreciate you!

Shawn,Glad you didn't break anything but the ski. I couldn't imagine what condition you'd been in with a cheap vest. Pirate is a great guy,It will be good to see him again at our get together. And some more of the members will get the pleasure to meet a great guy also.

100 MPH impacted rated Lifejackets are the only type to be wearing.
My Mustang Survival Lifejacket is called a Force 6. It has 9 straps to it.
I am not a go slow riding, I push, drive and demand full effort, my equipment meets those demands, but like bodies, time and endurance, something has to give at some point. It's just life. I don't mind taking that risk, and I believe that my preparations and knowledge help me in moments like this to stay steady. I'm thankful and happy about that entire race, even the ending. It was good.

BTW I'm one of Pirates lowest fans. I have one of his eye patches, but I drillled a hole through it so he could actually see and stop bumping into the doorframes.

I heard he has a Sea Doo Shrine in his UPS truck glovebox.
