Double decker trailer build 09
Hey guys I thought I would share my build starting in March of 09. It is not on par with many of the other builds such as my hero Trond. Yet it was fun.
My problem was I has to many toys to take to the water. So I built a double deck trailer. The pictures you will see was the 1st trip with it.
My version of MUDBUG is Prineville lake in Oregon, we go jetski camping every year there for 4 to 6 nights on the beach with all the skis we can get, ski boats and this year a 24 ft party barge.
I have put over 400 miles on the trailer with no problems.
The trailer is not complete yet just primed out and temp linghts. I few adjustments need to be made. I will add covered stepping boards along the front and upper deck. I'm not sure what paint color Black or Sliver. Cast you votes now. I have many more pictures of the build and the lake if interesed.
Thanks for looking.

what are you using to power the hydraulic rams?

12 volt 2000 pound electric hydraulic pump housed in the black trailer box. the Rams are 16'' stroke 3'' bore. Lots of power with this set up.

Trailer looks good and I vote for silver. How do you like your shuttle craft?

I built mine also, check the signature, but not as fancy as yours. Looks great!.

I like it, I have only used it a few time's it's great for fishing. It has a 95 SPX for power. Used it mostly for carrying camping gear to the beach site. Next year I will buy a bigger 4 stroke to push the shuttle, then it will be used more. Any comment's on the 4 stroke GTI???? I will also be replacing seats and repainting the shuttle as well.

Thats a long ass trailer. I thought about going that route too. I did see a trailer with the shuttle up front and a RXP and RXT on the back that trailer was 30' long. My trailer is 21' and wieghs over 4 grand when loaded. I will be adding trailer brakes too.
