probably needs the carbs rebuilt. how many hours and is it all stock and original?
what happens when you nail it wide open from a standstill?

98GSXL, the internal fuel filters are glogged. You NEED to correct this before you run the motor lean.
- the grey Tempo fuel lines will deteriorate inside.
- to verify: remove a fuel line (return line between the carbs is easiest) by pulling hard(f#*& those Otekeir clamps). Cut the fuel line lenth-wise and examine.
If the clamp area is clear and pre-clamp is "gummy", you need to clean the carbs(rebuild w/out buying the kit), replace the fuel lines and clean the tank.

seadoo98gsxlimited, welcome to the forum.
Jerry / Shib. Please add a two-stroke DOO section. There are a number of people looking for a home.

gsx- you need a carb rebuild (or at least pulling them apart and cleaning them up) and at the same time swap out all the grey fuel lines. I had the EXACT same problem at 68 hours or so. My fuel lines were fine when I checked them for goo at the fuel bowl. When I pulled the carbs apart I found a ton of goo at the fuel lines attached to the carbs and the internal filters had been slimed.
You can use fuel hose from Napa. you will need about 15ft of 1/4" and 10ft of 3/8".
Oh, don't use carb cleaner on a 2-stroke. It can do bad things and won't help your carbs at all. Don't run it in the condition it's in now or your next post will be something like.... "Do I rebuild my 951 or just go with an SBT rebuild" LOL Get it fixed.
