    Question Electric fuel pump on 750????

    What are everyone's views on using an electric fuel pump on the 750 polaris skis? I was just thinking that if a you could get one that matched close to the triple outlet pump's delivery/hr you could either splice into a wire that only had power during running or put a toggle switch on the dash. What would be the ups and downs. I know you can get a purolator in line for pretty cheap and it just seems that would guarantee enough fuel to all carbs.

    Too much fuel pressure.

    The vacuum operated increase pressure as the engine speed increases.

    An electric would pump alot of psi all the time. Possibly shooting fuel past the needles in the carb and flooding the engine.

    1-2 psi at idle and 4-6 psi at WOT is what the stock pumps supply.

    makes sense, never thought of that. btw I SHOULD NOT have assumed since my carbs came off a running machine they where adjusted right. Good thing I only ran a few minutes. on the high idle the MAG was open 1/4 turn, the center 1/2(correct) and the PTO 1/2. the low idles were also set to between 1/4 and 1/2. I do believe that was my bogging issue although I haven't got it in the water yet. What do you think, is that far enought out to keep it from opening up and make it act so sluggish.??
