    GP1200R Custom fuel valve?

The stock fuel selector valve went bad on my ski so I decided to run the reserve line to my carbs. It runs good now but I like having a valve to turn the fuel off when I'm not riding. I got a valve from a lawn mower store that looks like it will work fine. My question is should I put it before or after the fuel filter when heading towards the carbs? Thanks

Why do you want to leave the valve in there? First thing most of us did was remove it. Never had any problems in 7 years.

If you have your heart set on it, put it after the fuel filter. But I don't know of any carb guys running one.

I would imagine it would help if you turn the fuel off while your flushing it and run the gas out. Sometimes If I beach my ski after riding and hop back on it in an hour it bogs really bad for about 2 minutes. Any idea why?

I would absolutely suggest you do not turn the fuel off to flush it. Can't tell you why it's bogging.
