    Watercraft insurance

I have a question about insurance prices for watercraft? I sold my boat a few years back and the insurance for that boat was 150 dollars a year for full coverage...the value on the boat was 10 grand and it had content loss on it as well. I just checked, and my insurance for one ski is 240 dollars a year with a value of 4 grand...Holy cow! I would like to know what others are paying for insurance on their skis? Oh, I have a 250 dollar deductible.

You can only get actual cash value for a ski according to my research - regardless of what you declare as the value of the ski.

With that being said, I have 300k coverage for liability, and I have comp coverage. Total price is $299/yr. through Markel Insurance.

No, ~$400 for $12k for the ski and $850 for the trailer for a year.

Frankly, if I only paid $100 a year I would be concerned about what would happen when I filed a claim.
