Bolt was not crooked. Torquing to 12 ft lbs. Almost was done. It was the last to torque. What is the tower on the shoe bracket?

I had one break while installing, I went in removed the bracket got some longer bolts with nuts and washers and torqued it to spec, I then finished cleaning and wiping all the glue joints let it cure for a day then put a new bracket in. I did have the pump tunnel reinforcement previously installed in this one.

I tried calling you last night Duke. I am going to pull the bolt today and hope the bolt is stripped. If not might try a longer bolt. worst case i will have to replace hull insert which doesnt sound fun to get to. i still have the jack under it.

Bolt was not stripped. The bolt head was turning, snapped off and fell in my hands last night. used an ex out to get the rest of the bolt out. lowes and home depot failed at having a replacement bolt. off to ace today. the center of the bolt had corrosion in it.

If ACE doesnt' have a bolt, check to see if there is a Fastenal near you. They are usually located in several locations around major cities.
