Any Elephant Butte, NM riders in here?

Just gauging interest to try to put something together. There are around a 100 skis on the lake at any given time why not hang out?

Seems to be a rather large lake. Got any pics and stuff?

We are out there pretty often. Are you the couple we met a few weeks ago pretty far north on the lake, you had just gotten your rxt-x?

no fast skis down here that I've ever seen on the busy weekends the chop and traffic make riding fast pretty risky actually. great scenery however and a nice getaway for you take a pass thru ruidoso/cruces on the way down.

lots of small coves and nice areas to putt around if you get out early on a weekday morning the water is like glass and you can do some speed runs.

Avoid holiday weekends and weekends in general for the best experience. Actually the lower the lake..the better the riding is as low water really restricts the boaters from just going anywhere.

Improved campsites at Eb lake have power/water and sewer hookups for $15 a day or so.

Good deal cause If I'm coming down that way I'm going to make it a weekend trip. When were you thinking about a poker run?
