    16 or 19 Amp Battery?

    Hi All -

Brand new to these forums, and looking to actively participate in conversations moving forward, but I have to start off with a question:

I need to put a new battery in my 02' Polaris Virage i, and the manual calls for a 12volt/19amp. However all the local battery distributors are telling me a 16amp will be just fine. Normally I would just go by the book, but there is a $40 price difference. Thoughts?

You should stick with the sealed batteries, they are a little more expensive, but last longer, work better. And the injected ski's like a strong battery.
