i just installed yesterday mine (XS) the inlet is a 3/4 inch hose coming from the pumpshoe... now the inlet and outlet of the ic doesnt really matter how you route it i use route it my inlet on the upper part of the intercooler and outlet on the bottom fitting...now the outlet hose run it towards the front into the exht manifold (Bottom Fitting!..) and you should be good to go!.

you gonna run a strainer? If so, it needs to be in line before your IC.

Only if you want to filter out stuff that will eventually block the IC... Ron

Feed water in from the lowest point.

It helps to remove trapped air bubbles.
