Jerry----Riva SC impeller
Jerry, I thought some time back you pulled out your riva vortech impeller because Mark said it would run lean with the rr ecu? Now that you have it back in did you any notice increase in performace with it over the stock one?

Yes, there is a definate increase in performance. I had to run bigger injectors and a piggyback fuel controller to be able to run it though.

I have a piggyback fuel controller I could use on it. What kind of injectors are you using and where did you get them? How did you determine that it was running lean without the additional fuel?

Mark Underwood and Nils Castillo did A/F readings on ported head / racing cam equipped skis and determined that when using the Vortech SC impeller the engine would run lean, even with the Racing ECU.
I got my injectors from Nils as well as the piggy back fuel controller. He also provided me with a fuel map for my application.

How can I get in touch with Nils? What spark plugs are you running?

Are you running the Denso 24 or the 27?
Thanks for the info!

Hey Jerry what gains did you get with the different plugs and what is their full part number ? I`ll try and see if they`re available down here.
