PWC Security - Theft deterent devices?

What do you guys do to ensure nothing happens to your PWC's while on trips, parked at hotels, etc?

Im thinking of making a couple of trips this year, but am rather uncomfortable with the thought of my skis sitting on the trailer overnight at the hotel.

I use these tiedown locks that quickmick made last year to lock my ski to the trailer. works good.

LEO has a neat setup where he locks his seat with soem small modification he made.

My only worry is that if they can take the nut off the ball, its good as gone. Unless the nut is welded.

I lock both of the skis together with a kriptonite cable to the back tie downs and back up to something solid. But in all reality if someone wants them who knows what they are doing they are going to get them. Locks and the such make me sleep better though!

the best preventative measure over locks and cables and whatnot.... back your truck and trailer as close as possible against a fence or cement/brick wall. try to get urself into a corner of a lot so you have wall/fence both on one side of you and behind you.....

of course avoid the back dark alley part of the hotel, and ask the hotel desk if they have cameras in the lot and where the cameras are located.

cable/chain thru each ski, around the frame of the trailer, and thru the wheels so they can't roll the trailer around or anything.

like anything, if they want it, they'll get it

bike stores have some of the best selections of cables, also Walmarts,
    Targets, etc.

I've noticed many tow vehicles with trailers use hefty chains around and
through tire rim to trailer frame when they leave their rigs at ramps and
are out on the water. That way it's not easy to roll 'em around and make
    off with them.

I was thinking of welding single edge razor blades under the tongue of the
trailer. If you get to your ski and see finger tips on the ground you'll know
you got 'em! I wonder what the liability would be............!
