Have questions for 99 Xp limited purchase???

I am looking at purchasing a 99 Xp limited with 60 original hours. it has been sitting for the last three years in storage. There was no fuel in the tank. So we put premium in with new factory recommended spark plugs and a new battery and it started right up. It seems to me that it runs a little rough and idles high, but could be because it is out of water. i know my polaris does the same until you put in in the water and then there is no vibration and the rpm's at idle are 1250+/- which is in spec. Does anyone have anything they can comment on to look for? Would it be wise to take to the lake that way and run it or just see if it idles right first? Or should I take it and have the carbs rebuilt before doing anything because i know I don't want to lean out the engine on a 2 stroke. Also i am wondering if there is a PDF file for the owner's manual if anybody has the link to it. The ski is bewing sold by the son who inhereited it from his father. The son said he doesn't know if his dad drained the fuel tank or if it evaporated? Please any help would be much appreciated!!!! Also sorry for posting first thread in Seadoo 4-tec performance (My BAD).

if they let you take it for a ride on the lake i would...wouldn't hurt....if it still has the grey fuel lines in it then those will need to be replaced because the insides will eat away and clog up the carbs....and if the grey lines are still in there i would have the carbs cleaned out. get some compression numbers post it here....I'm sure others will post some more hints

If the compression #'s are good then $1500 is a good starting point depeding on the shape it's in. Bad #'s $900 is good starting point.
