Only when I hit a wave?
My ski dies when I hit a wave. When I come off a wave and hit the next and it jars the machine it instantly dies. Like I pulled the lanyard. Then it starts right back up. Any ideas? I opened the E-Box and found no visible loose connections or grounds, and I cant find it on the hose, I wiggle everything and she just keeps running.

Ok we took it out today and now it will only start if I push the start button repeatedly. If I just hold it down it just cranks. If I let off and push it again it will usually start. Sometimes it takes a few tries. Why is this? Could the ignition switch be bad?

You need to check and see if you're getting spark, or if it's taking that long for enough fuel to fire it off.

Check battery voltage while cranking. Must be well over 10.5 volts while cranking.
If battery is good, then remove and clean both ends of both battery cables. Make sure the engine end of the negative cable is connecting to clean metal, with a clean bolt.
