1998 GP760 trim tabs/ride plate/porposing questions
Recently bought a used 1998 GP760 and after reading these very informative forums have learned why my GP760 seems to hop on the water. After checking the ride plate, there is already 7 very rusty washers on the front of the ride plate and 9 very rusty washers on the back. I don't know if I have an early 98 hull model or not so I am submitting the pics for viewing. If so, where could I get the trim tabs? Don't know of the quality but it already has an R&D Pro Series ride plate, how many washers should I try removing on the next trial run out to try and smooth this ski out? Obviously one of the previous owners tried to rectify the hopping effect but didn't quite go about it in the right way. Thanks for any info!
P.S.-- Check out that rock in the grate! Now I know I didn't do that. lol

You might try a top loader intake grate & a riva ride plate if you dont have one. But I would get rid of that stock grate.
