    SLT 700 Hard to start

I have an SLT700 and all of a sudden it will only start if I repeatedly push the start button. What may cause this?

Does it crank but not start each time you press the button, or do you have to push it repeatedly to get it to crank?

A weak battery may cause that.

If you have a bilge button, hold it down. Does the bilge pump run?

While holding the bilge button, see if it starts.

If yes, then the LR module is suspect. Check the grounding on the LR module.

If the grounding is good, check the voltage on the Orange wire while cranking. It should jump up to battery voltage, and be well over 10.5 volts. If not, replace the LR module.
