    97 spx water in hull

    was out at lake and hull would fill wit water fast so i removed the seat wit it on i rev gas saw water sprayin under the gray cover the more i rev more water would spray out what would this be? seal gasket

    It's either the carbon ring or the rubber accordian boot is split. You should have pulled the gray cover off to confirm where the water was coming in from.

    i did remove it it wasnt the boot it coming from flywheel or whatever its called must be seal inside right ?

    If the water is deep enough, the PTO flywheel is going to pick it up first. It doesn't mean anything. You should have took it out of the water, drained it, and put it back in, on the trailer, and found out where it was coming in.

    if its not leaking around drive line check exhaust pipe welded plugs
