    carb question

I am not a mechanic but i want to clean/rebuild the carbs on my 2001 xlt. my first question is how do i get to them? probably sounds like a stupid question but im kinda confused on how to get them out?
    Any help is appreciated.
ski is completely stock as far as i know, just bought it a few weeks ago. Its running fine but all my reading on this site says that is the first thing that should be looked at. I top out at 56-57, is that a normal top speed for an xlt? just seems like 155hp should go a little faster?

Best advise would be for you to buy a service manual, (not being a smart ass) It will have all the info torque specs and assembly which will make it alot easier. But to answer the question you have to pull the pipe.

Dont fix if its not broke brother.. Maybe consider pulling it down during the winter for a freshen up job. Enjoy the summer my man. Ride it like you stole it..

Try a search on "service manuals" and download one.

    I agree with.....
