    Timing chain tensioner

How difficult is it to replace? Is this something I can do without removing the motor? Any step by step info?

    Thanks!

Pretty straight forward. Just remove/slide back the intake manifold and its right there.

Trying to think of why you would want to replace ?

I was told to replace the tensioner instead of the the chain & tensioner. The chain is an overkill heavy duty chain & will only break if something inside the motor gives. I was thinking I had to replace everything. I have 214 hrs on the ski.

Is this not an issue then?
