1990 Kawi Standup 550, turning the drive train

Replaced the stock prop with a Solas prop, when putting the pump back on the drive train came off the engine, along with a rubber part going between the engine and drive train.

My question is when you put the drive train and rubber insert back into the engine, along with the pump, should you be able to turn the drive train?

The coupler should not be loose on the PTO if that is what you are talking about.

The coupler is not loose, should I be able to hand turn the drive shaft when it's in and my pump bolted in?

It should be able to turn enough to get to a compression point in the engine. If it's dead solid then you should check the engine alignment...providing the engine isn't seized. Also check the engine mounts, try to rock the engine on it's mounts and see if it lifts up off of a mount.
