Question about CYL. placement
I am in the process or rebuilding a top end of a gp1200r. one of the cylinders is sleeved... Any merit to putting teh sleeved cylinder first or second in stead of third?
Also, my WSM top end rebuild kit stated that the thrust washers for the pistons/wrist pins are not needed (see WSM post). Should I put them in anyway? will it hurt?

Why would you run one bastard cylinder?? You are asking for trouble. IMO.

I've heard from WFO and others that a sleeved cylinder runs a little warmer than a non-sleeved cylinder. Taking that as true, I'd install it on No. 1, since it tends to run cooler than the others.
