    V-4 PWC for 2007?

Just a few rumors mixed in with some facts (?) for the membership to think about.

Kawasaki will have a new hull and engine. The engine will be a SC V-4 four stroke. It will possibly be of a Suzuki design taken from their line of outboard motors. The hull will be a three seater similiar in size to the RXT/GTX. It will be the fastest stock PWC built to date.

It has been said that a v-4 will also power the Kawi SX-R standup. This engine will be NA, not super charged.

Kawi has finally captured the "fastest" Sport Bike title with the 2006 ZX-14. The 1999-2003 Ultra held that title for PWC until de-throned by the RXP in 2004. Now Team Green is determined to capture bragging rights with their new skis. The near future should prove very interesting !

I hope you are right. I have been hearing about new machines coming from Kawi for a long time and have been let down every year.
It would be nice if they raised the bar so we would get something new from everybody else.

How fast (gps) do you think this stock SC 3 seater would go ?

    70 ?
I wonder what the gas mileage on a V4 would be.

Kawi is suppose to come out with a bangin 4stroke, yami is suppose to come out with one. They keep letting us down each year. I am no longer interested in top speed too late, they should have brought it to the table sooner. I like having fun playing in the surf. Top speed is a thrill but a short one. I would rather have a reliable fun machine that doesn't suck up the fuel.

    4stroke standup and a 4stroke X-2 -----kawi

    4stroke standup and a 4stroke blaster 2D lookin thingy-----yami
    That would be cool.

Seventy out of the box is what I have heard. The fuel milage is anyones guess. 250+hp is going to be thirsty.

this is exactly what i'm trying to get away from with selling my ski... they are stable and fast and dont porpoise... but IMO they turn into single purpose machines... to blast thru the rough and not take a beating, and just straight-line haul ass.... gets boring after awhile, been there done that.

i would be alot more enthused if they put this motor in the 15F hull as is... unless they can somehow make a 3-seater hull that's better than the 15F, bc the handling of that hull impresses me very much... and even still, if u want to be FAST, ur gonna have to stick with seadoo thru all of 2007. there's gonna be zero parts for any newly introduced ski for several months into the season, and even at this it'll be basics, nothing like the product line offered for the RXP platform.

The only V4 I know of is the new Kawasaki 1000cc stand up.
