Not really just order a Riva D-plate for that year ski and then for the temp sensor, wire in a 2.2k resistor. Do a search of the forum and you can find the instructions on the 2.2k resistor

There's really no performance enhancements it gives you. It does make the exhaust a little louder. The reason you want to do it, is the cat/con has been known to break apart and that can cause lots of problems in your exhaust all the way to the waterbox. The d-plate is a sure way to not have that happen.

It doesn't give you any performance, you actually lose a little.

Preventative maintenance. If you leave in the cat, you may get a (bad) surprise.

Same way that pump tunnel does not net you speed or holeshot.

Both are a "must do" though... if you plan on having the ski around for a while.

    Good thing!

I remember reading that Carl pulled higher speeds with a Cat/Con, but I can't find that post. It' probably an old Riva post.

I have a quick question i called the guys at riva, and they told me that on my '06 1300 i dont have to put the chip in or put in a resistor. Is this true? Sorry for hyjacking your thread.

Most of the ski's I know of the alarm has gone off. Mine did the first day i was out riding. Some of the 06 1300's have been lucky not to have the alarm go off. Its hit or miss.
