    crankshaft oil seals

    I am assuming its a good idea to replace the crank oil seals when doing a crank replacement..

    Yes ALWAYS... If your going that far into the engine REPLACE EVERYTHING... or... You can just take all the money your going to spend on your rebuild, roll it up... and burn it. I know personally id kick my self hard in the ass if i spent $600+ on a crank and lost a motor due to a bad seal, gasket, or bearing...

    God it only sounds ideal if i chime and say SPEND THE $$$$$$$$$$$
