    Noobi Here From Mami Y2K GP12r

    whats up guys just checkin in from s.fla i pick up a 2000 GP1200r hoping to pick up some good tips from this forum to help me maintain and possibly upgrade this puppy. need a meter assy. but other than that it runs great.......

    Welcome, I have a 12r too, search is key on this forum as their is too much info for you to take in on our skis here. Make sure your engine questions and what not, get posted in the yami 2 stroke area.

    Thanks i was just over there doing some reading hopefuly i can take this thing out this weekend only riddin it on a canel near me house before i bought it. Hey espritonsevas did you delete the oil pump on urs ?

    Hey guys I just picked up my flush kit cuz the ski didnt come with one and i got home cranked it on and well the idle is retty rough it revs good when you hit it and it dosent shut off it just idles rough, when I test rode it the seller told me its needed slight carb adjustment because it was idleing rough. Can anyone local help out ? i have no idea how to do this my self nor do i even want to fuck with it pleaes advise thanks

    I havent deleted it but I plan too, Its just I have never really worked on my ski and the mechanic that was supposed to do it, forgot to put the block off plate hes an idiot I know.
