    Tow Vehicle Suggestions

I am thinking of retiring my Toyota Sequoia when it hits 200,000 miles (it has 190,000 now). So I am looking for a good tow vehicle (SUV) to replace it. I am done buying new vehicles and taking the depreciation hit myself, so I am buying used. I like the Sequoia and the Tahoe. But I'm open to suggestions. Let's hear some suggestions preferably from personal experience.

Gold metalflake Escalade, 24" chromies, and hydraulics (makes it easier to attach the trailer). License plate "SPRFLY".

Roll up to the courthouse in that!

my best towing vehicle was my 99' 2 Dr Tahoe. kept it till I hit 262K. Easy to work on, plently of room for 5 people and with a chip and cold air intake it handles heavier trailers very well in hilly areas.

    Hey Franko!
take a closer look at Nissan, we had the 05 Xterra SE. The Pathfinder is also a very good choice, depending on what size and how many occupants you need...

I wish I knew you were looking, we traded in the vehicle with 53K on it in MINT condition, the Xterra was gone when we went back in to pic up our tags for the replacement vehicle...
so yeah, I hear ya, the dealer made out on this one twice...

H2 Hummer, You can pick one up CHEAP now. I had one and you couldnt even feel the trailer behind you. My H3 and Jeep Wrangler are underpowered for going up hills with 2 4tecs behind.

Tahoe or Yukon. Get the 4X4, comes in handy on some boat ramps. If you don't mind the 2000 through 2006 body style, you can make a real good deal on a used one.
