    Volumetric pressure

    I was told to mill my oem head for more volumetric pressure. Does anyone know the meaning of this or what it does?

    it increases your compression ratio. milling the head reduces the size of the combustion chamber above the cylinder. It makes the piston compress the air fuel mixture tighter also creating more turbulance. A lot of engines can benefit from it some don`t there is a such thing as too much compression. Which can be dependent on a lot of factors from fuel to reliability. How much you can mill will depend on your curent package and maybe any future plans. What type of fuel you want to run in your ski? If you want to stay with pump gas you won`t be able to do a whole lot.
