    gp1300r rusted intake clamps

have had 2 gp1300's and on both motors the clamps for the rubber boots are so rusted that they break. Can you use regular ss clamps? Also the brackets that hold the spark arrestor are also rusted? Where can i get new one's at a good price?

You can buy them off of here. In the "Order OEM Parts" in the left menu. Mine were rusted too.

i replace mine every season...you could always attempt to clear coat them before you put them on next time ...or glass bead the rusted ones and clear coat them. Just be sure to put grease on the thread part.

Been using Home Depot SS clamps for years with no problems. I would prefer the OEM ones since the gear drive is a little better, but I have a problem with paying $18 for OEM's.
