Rad4Racing Torque Plate Pre Order Thread

We are now running a revised edition of the torque plate and production units are half the weight of the old ones with cooler temps and cooler looks.

If you would like one of these torque plates please pre order here

    http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...oducts_id=1213

Once we get 10 pre orders I will ship these to Jerry from New Zealand.

    Longer bolts included

The plate comes annodized black and has a set of twelve longer bolts. The retail price is $198 and all the prototypes are sold. Freight on each plate is $50 usd to send them to individuals if we sent them from NZ so jerry is taking orders and we will freight them in one go to him which is where the saving is.
Remember when jerry makes a few bucks on the store items it keeps this site in business and gives everyone an excellent communication medium for our sport or hobby.....or is that addiction??

I tested the Gen I version for JFizzleJR last year. Got 120 rpm increase on my stock 07 RXT with stage 3 wheel, XS cooler and thru hull exhaust. Yep, longer hex socket screws came with it. I went to 08-X model exhaust water box and had to remove it due to clearance with the side of the hull. Good product though.
KC, I think I just turned the catchcan bracket around and mounted it upside down for clearance with the hull.

Can we see an installed pic? So we know what clearance we have to deal with.

Larry did you have any rubbing/ installation issues during your install? Im assuming that the one you tested was a inch thick too. Did you have the Riva catch can then. Forget it Larry I got my answer.

No rubbing...had the catch can, turned the bracket upside down and it was very close but did not rub or cause a problem. It is a tight fit but on regular rxt's it did fit. The one I used was 1". The install is tight but if you work from the far side of the ski leaning over the motor there is room to do it just fine. It takes patience though. 12 bolts are a lot. Like I said when I went to the 08 exhaust, like Caldo's, it would not clear enough to allow me to connect the exhaust extension to the manifold.
