    Solas Prop error

Hey everyone, I just check my prop today and I noticed that the green little cuplet is not screwed in. In fact I can move it up and down the driveshaft. Problem is I cannot screw it back in because it seems as if the end of the driveshaft where the prop goes on seems swelled so I cannot move it all the way down towards the prop to screw it back in. Any ideas as to how to fix this or is this a non issue? I seem to notice a bit of a mph loss but that just could be the weather. no cavitation however. pics are below and any help would be much appreciated.

Pull the pump, remove the green cone and throw it in the trash then reinstall the pump. Problem solved forever.

You can pull the pump back off and red loctite it back on. Don't start the ski up for a day the red loctite needs sometime to dry. Oh, if it had a o-ring on it don't worry about putting another one on.
