Which one: RXT 215 or GTX 215

    I'm looking at 2 new pwc. 2008 or 2009 RXT 215 or GTX 215.
I've been reading the seadoo webiste and one is muscle and one is luxery. Other than that I'm trying to compare features/rides,etc. It's for family use (me/wife kids). I like speed. My wife likes features.

They are nearly the same. The handling and performance will be identical.
The difference will be paint , hood design and a few trim pieces.

Yeah, I don't even know why they are offering some of these models, it seems the BRP product line has become a bit redundant to me. In previous years, the so-called "luxury models" included some nice features like a digital depth finder but I don't see any real differences between the RXT vs. the GTX 215, and I don't see any "luxury" there either. You can compare the various models here:

Any major differences between 2008 & 2009 RXTs? I can probably get a deal on the 08's

There are a few differences but none that would justify the extra cash for the 09.

Well since you said it's for your family as well...go with the GTX. It will be nearly as fast as the RXT (your benefit) but its got the luxury (her benefit). And I believe they are a bit cheaper as well! Also, if affordable, get the IS.. Now that's luxury

I have an 06 RXT which came with the digital depth finder and water temp. My wife has an 06 GTX (non-supercharged) and she would much rather ride the RXT because of the supercharger. Bottom line, you'll love either one so go with the best deal available.
