    timing mod

Hey guys , doing the timing mod on my 2008 250x. I got a couple of rotors to practice on and took 1.2mm out of one of them with the dremel. Is this too much , I know you are only supposed to go 1mm for 6 deg. Figure this is prob about 7 deg. I only run 93 octane. So is 1.2mm too much?

If you have Dremel in the right place 7 deg. will be fine.
When you fit turn it clockwise as you do up the bolt.
