    hit a submerged log

    i was out on my 09 ultra all day and on the way in i hit a submerged log put a nice hole in the bottom i wonder if the ins co will total it or have it repaired = new hull .anybody have experience with this

    Easy fix for any good fiberglass shop.
    Maybe $500-700 max

    I spent $5000.00 on new bottom on my ski ,,had a hole in it too.
    Just below the bow ring,,,they took a mould off another Ultra ski.

    Sucks man, I think about this a lot myself because we still have a bunch of cypress trees down in our Florida waterways because of the five hurricanes we got in 2004. I really think your boater's insurance will cover this, give them a call.

    well after taking a better look at it today it looks like the gel and the first layer of matt is off about 12 inch long by 6 inches wide back near the intake and some of the glass around the intake has chunks missing . so who is a good glass guy for this around nj pa

    thanks i will check them out i have a call in to Frank at fiberglass plus in pt i heard he is good also

    your insurance should cover this i'd think.
