    Raider 1100 cutting out!

    I was riding around this past friday and went to race a speed boat and jetski and the ski was runnin fine until i noticed we it would catch air in the pump that it sounded like it was goin into MUCH higher rpms then normal. Then it started cutting out from about 3/4 throttle to full. I was on reserve so i went back to the boat and put five gallons in it to no prevale. Any Ideas???

    You may have hurt it over reving it test compression to reasure yourself you did not hurt it internally.

    ok i will check that as soon as i go to my dads house. is there a certen size compression tester i need or will one work thats for like cars?
    oh and could it have been that i have a primer kit with the line connected to the "Resrve" line and i was running on reserve... i cant remeber if i put it back to on after puttin the gas in it.

    i think i am goin over to my dads later today to work on my truck i will try to do a compression test then. Could a primer kit have to do with it doing that

    those numbers sound low from what i have read on here
    the plugs looked tan/dark brown
    it has around 280hrs on it

    1. Pull tank lines and ensure nothing is stuck in them. It could have ran lean.
    2. Check your in-line fuse up front and make sure it's making great contact.
    3. Your stator could have moved "loose screws".....changing timing.
