    wrist pin bearing problem on 657

    my wrist pins dont fit. i bought a wsm rebuild kit and the wrist pin bearings dont fit in the the connecting rods. its a 93 xp 657. im wondering if i have the bearings are for a 657x. they are way to big for the connecting rod

    that looks like a set for a 947 engine.

    Those do look like the non OEM style for a 951 engine.
    I would never use the alum wrapped bearing. In my Superstock GSX limited, this same bearing exploded, and killed my piston, sleave, and head.
    Seadoo makes a wristpin bearing that has just the needles, and thust bearings...Use that one...
